In 2012 Sergei Dogadin completed his studies at the N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg State Conservatory (class of People's Artist of the USSR, Professor V.Yu. Ovcharek, Associate Professor P.V. Popov and Honored Artist of Russia A.S. Dogadin). In 2014 he completed with honors a graduate course at the Higher School of Music in Cologne (Germany), where he attended the class of Professor Michaela Martin. In 2013-2015 he attended the class of Professor Boris Kuschnir as a graduate course of the University of Arts in Graz (Austria), and then continued his studies in the class of Boris Kuschnir at the Vienna Conservatory. Since 2017 he is a Visiting Professor at the International Academy of Arts in Lianzhu (China).
He has toured in Russia, the USA, Japan, Germany, France, the Great Britain, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, China, Poland, Lithuania, Hungary, Ireland, Chile, Latvia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Romania, Moldova, Estonia, and the Netherlands. He performed with contemporary outstanding musicians: Yuri Temirkanov, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazi, Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Simonov, Thomas Sanderling, Vladislav and Alexander Chernushenko, Saulius Sondeckis, Viktor Tretyakov, Alexander Rudin, Denis Matsuev and many others.
Sergei Dogadin played genuine rarities. He performed on the ancient violin by the Italian master Giovanni Battista Guadagnini, on the French instrument by Jean- Baptiste Vuillaume. In 2013 Dogadin won the main prize of the III Yu.I. Yankelevich International Violin Competition - Italian violin by Gaetano Antoniazzi, made in the XIX century.
