Siberian Symphony Orchestra from Omsk is one of the largest orchestras in Russia.
It was founded in 1966 by the outstanding conductor Semyon Kogan, who managed to form a strong professional team and give it a good creative form in a fairly short period of time. In 1978, the team was headed by Viktor Tietz, under his management the orchestra reached artistic maturity, formed a broad repertoire. Over the years, the orchestra was headed by conductors A. Chistyakov, N. Dyadyura, V. Barsov, V. Mnatzakanov , E. Shestakov, E. Samoilov.
It`s staff includes more than 100 artists, experienced musicians who successfully embody diverse creative ideas.
